Factory Steering Bump Issues
Hi everyone. I am new to Honda-Tech but have been a reader for some time. My project is a 91 CRX Si that is bone stock. Bought it too years ago with 200k on the odometer. Car is a ZC swap with no suspension mods. My problem is whenever i hit a puddle of water, or speed strips or any bump that isn't even, the car pulls violently to the side of the bump. Took apart the entire front suspension, and for 200k car thats over 20 years old all the bushings were tight and solid. Tie rod and ball joint boots were shot, but the joints themselves were fine (replaced boots new grease). Car came with 205/45 Z 16 sumis. Not sure if its the size tires or what, but with no play in the joints/bushings or the rack i'm at a loss as to why it bump steers. Car is a real survivor but this one issue sucks. Any help would be great, And thanks for being a resource for me in the past!
Thanks Again!

@DCRB. No haven't gotten an alignment yet, cheapest ive found is 80 bucks, and being a student thats kinda a lot right now. Car is not lowered, it has stock shocks and springs. Bone stock 91 Si, only difference is the 205/47 16 sumis.
This post is pure speculation until you get the car on an alignment rack.
Seriously...no one can help you until this happens. If they align perfectly and the car still does it, then get back to us.
And lol @ 200K mile bushings still being "solid". If you plan to keep the car, replace the bushings the next time you decide to take the front suspension apart.
