Default L Cheapo's H22A4

Ok, This will be my first trubo build. I've done some top end stuff on domestic and import but nothing to major! I don't plan on completing this very quick so I'll be taking my time. Also hence L cheapo, I will doing this build as cheap as possible. Stop cringing, I'm not going to sacrifice quality. My plans are to do as much wheelin and dealing along with selling things I dont need from what I buy to support a good portion of the build. I could do it all out of pocket but I am one of the cheapest people you will meet lmfao! But no worries I wont be cutting corners! Along with keeping my wallet padded as much as possible, I want to show people that there is a alternative to being cheap and not sacrificing quality or durability!

My goal is to put down 500-600 maybe potential more. I just recently bought my H22A4 completly dissassembled but majority is there. I will be selling off what I don't need/want here soon and creating a thread for that!

So anyways story on the motor is the guy is a auto shop teacher and wanted to put it in his crx but sold it! So I win!!!!! A guy brought it into his shop/school and wanted it replaced cause it had a rod knock... well luckily, no spun bearings from what I see. Only damage is to the crank on #3 and #2 piston rod. Some of the bearings on the block were starting to go so theres some damage on the crank. BUT importantly the blocks ok, but will still go in to be checked.

I have been thinking on wether to send the crank in to be micropolished or just start off with a new/used/ fresh one with no damage or previous damage.

Other than that no issues with anything else!

So now I'm on the hunt for what I need!

p.s. heres the kicker on this.... I dont even have a car to put it in yet lol

Cost so far: $200.00!

If you can run your fingernail across the journal and it catches on anything, get a new crank. From the picture, I would recommend a new crank.

Just in case you didn't alreadw know, you can't use the wiseco pistons in a h series block with stock sleeves. Because of the frm liners.
