my car wont start. last time it ran it was running fine then i turned a corner and while in mid corner the car bogged out and sounded like it was running out of gas (has full tank). pulled in the driveway and the car was reving like it had a load in neutral, then it starting to hit rev limiter at 4000 (it sounded like two-step) which caused me to believe my distributor was going because it was misfiring, checked spark and everything looked good.

as of now the car will not start hasn't started since it bogged out. checked voltage of yllw/blk wires on injector clip wires and measured 11.6 on multimeter (battery is low i have been cranking it a lot). when you first try and start it, it will start to fire then it just cranks like there is either no fuel or no spark (has fuel you can smell it). then after you try and fire it the injectors hum, it almost sounded like the fuel pump stayed on but its definally the injectors. maybe thats the problem but im stumped!

it did this to me once before, i didnt run it for awhile so i tried to start it and it just cranked and cranked, i tried bumping it and nothing. a few weeks passed by and the i tried to start it and it fired right up. so maybe i have a short circuit somewhere i dont know just need some advice where it look and what to check

check your fuel pump relay. $50 from Autozone. I had this issue. Car will crank but it won't start. I had enough juice on the battery and I even jumped it and it wont start.

 

i can hear the fuel pump prime. and while its cranking i have 45psi at the fuel rail

 

bump problem still persists

 

did it throw any cel's when it did this?
