Default dpfi-mpfi problems!

Well, I don't know if it actually has something to do with the wiring, but something isn't right. I'm not firing on my #1 cyl.. Could anyone out there give me any answer you can think of. I'm throwing a throttle angle sensor code. If anyone can help, please do. Thanks

did you change the wiring harness or the distributor? If not I think that could be one of your problems.

go the same prob and cant figure it out. wait if your talking about code 4 I had that to i solved it by going back in to the connector where I put the pins and squeezed the pins in further, so that they would grip the small pin that goes in the middle better and that eliminated the code. it was real annoying caus i had checcked everything. i have a code 9 now with a temp gauge that goes crazy under load. If you know somethin let me know, Im doing a 88 zc swap

if u get a crank angle sensor , the first thing i tell u to dio its change the 2 cables.. they might be reversed... as for the TPS>... did u changed the green and yellow cable off the TPS plug?? it might be running WOT and too rich on idle... check those cables first

for the TPS code, make sure you switched the two outside wires.
as for not firing, check the two white wires on the distributor plug. they look very similar and could be reversed. i had that problem on my swap, very annoying (and stupid) mistake. also, double check all your ECU pins are securely connected, as well as all the wires properly soldered and heat-shrunk.
