We are using the original wiring harness off the f23. It had a 4 wire distributor plug and a crank sensor. The f20 has an 8 wire plug with no crank sensor. I know thats where the other 4 wires are coming from but we have been searching our asses off trying to find out how to pin the connector. If anybody knows of a wiring diagram or something that can help us please let us know.

by the way, we tried searching here on HT as well as on google with no luck.

 

just for the record we have the engine harness side plug with no pins in it and we have 8 pins ready to go in it, just dont know where they go

 

Well, we wired it off a picture of an 8 wires harness that we found . hopefully it works but would rather find a actual wire diagram to be for sure

You're welcome, Ive done a lot of JDM h22/F20b's and they all use the same principle

 

I'm kinda in the reverse boat, trying to get the 4 wire hitachi dizzy (from f23) to work with my obd1 harness.

Love to see a wiring diagram for an f23 dizzy.
