1990 Honda Accord Diagnostic PIN Code Retrieval (pics)
My car recently turned off on me (first time) while waiting for red light. The "S" light started blinking but I wasn't able to pay much attention how many times since my attention was mainly on getting my car restarted.
I am trying maybe retrieve the stored code doing the the following below but cant seem to find the correct blue 2 pin connector.
I found a blue connector but it does not have the 2 pin wires to insert paper clip to jump and retrieve code (pictures below).

I removed foam but didn't see a way to disconnect anything. There was a piece that seemed like it would release something but didnt do much. Seems like a solid piece.

Does this look like the correct wire?

Jump the BLUE 2 pin connector at the top of the passenger side kick panel; turn on the key and see if there is a trans code stored. (count the 'S' light flashes)

90 accords dont have the blue pin.
to check CEL you have to look through the little circle window on the ecu.
the lights will blink the same pattern as if was the cel on the dash.

this is not true. 90 accords have the blue connector and a light on the ecu to watch it blink. i have two 90 honda accords so i know what im talking about. i can even take pictures of my registration and the blue connector for proof. i always strip away at some speaker wire i have laying around and stuff it into that connection. always works.
