Had fuel pump & more replaced and now MPGs way down...HELP
So my car broke down and had it towed to the nearest mechanic. Don't know if hes legit or a scam artist since i'm new to the area but basically he said it was the fuel pump and other associated parts. Ended up being $800 after all was said and done. I was fine with that except for now instead of my usual 31-35mpgs I am getting 20-22mpgs. I figure somehow he set the fuel pump so that I am running way too rich?? if thats possible? Anyone know how I could fix this? Help
There is nothing you can do to the fuel pump to change the flow rate without changing it with an aftermaket one.
What else did he change?

I can hear it now.. " look like you need new fuel pump... your injectors very very dirty. And because is dirty your FPR go bad, very very bad. What kind of gas you use...ah you need new filter and fuel line... 800 i fix for you, cheap price my friend."
