I'm starting this thread on my 2000 LX sedan that ive owned since 5/28/11
It started life as a stock auto with 133k miles. it didnt stay stock for very long.
Mod List:
Engine:
B16B swap from HMO
J'S Racing intake
Stock CTR header
Stock GSR exhaust with 2.5" collector to work with the header
Stock CTR ecu
Suspension/brakes:
K-Sports coilovers. For now, have Koni struts just need the GC sleeves and coils
Wilwood Dynalite 11" BBK up front
EK4 rear disc swap
Cheapo front and rear strut bars
SI 40/40 prop valve
Exterior:
started out in bad shape, still in progress
New OEM front bumper
Good shape OEM hood
Good OEM trunk
EDM Grille
JDM thin moldings still new in box
was rolling on grids, now Gram Lights
Interior:
JDM SiR Gauge cluster
OEM CTR Shift Boot
EP3 Front seats
ITR Rear seats
I know im probably missing stuff but pictures will fix it and there are lots of them so dont mind the pic whoring
only crappy picture of when I first got it

Good shape climate control

lowered it a week after i got it

Put "tear drops" on it, supposedly some type of jdm rims?

It was missing the bumper support which i got a week after i got the car but it was missing the bolts so got these when i installed it

I visited some family in cali and while i was there got some parts from Steve himself at HMO

Grams

oem mud flaps and dont mind the egay lip, it didnt stay on for long

put on the rear discs

for a while i ran 2 15" grids up front and 2 16" grids in the back. i was low on cash then

First off I got my car back from the shop and its nice to have my car structurally sound after driving it about a year with the bust up rad support and who knows how long its been like that :bonkers:

Now everyone is caught up... for now
What's up with the multi-colored body panels? Was it wrecked? Where did you find the ITR rears? Were they from a sedan, or coupe? Glad to see another sedan build out there, liking the CTR theme.

The car was painted at least 6 times and it was crashed into lava rocks at one point (my best guess) When I got the car the passenger rear seatbelt was still tied to the tow hook. That's why the radiator support was bent so badly so I'm having to fix the entire front end and still have more parts to aquire before it's ready for paint they also must of messed up the drivers knuckle pretty badly because when I got the car it had a integra knucle on the drivers side and a stock one on the passenger side so that had to be swapped out when I did the BBK. It was molested in the past but I like a challenge even though it is expensive to fix it the right way

Yeah this car has deffinetly been around! I got the seats from a sedan, only sedan seats fit in a sedan lol and I think any seats up to 2011 fit, idk about the new ones though Believe it or not I got them off of craigslist for $150
That's not bad. I'm looking at a few sets on eBay ranging from $150-$230, I just want to make sure I get the right set.

Yeah, my friend had a set of 2009 rear seats in his coupe. So I'm 100% positive the sedan seats will bolt up as well
GOLD????
If your doing a real paint job, please go champ white...or audi white.
If I was 10 years younger, Id paint my own. Your obv dropping some major coin into your project....whats another 3k for paint, lol.

Lol who said I wasn't going to spend 3k on paint and body work because that's about how much it's going to cost me. I will never go white because every one and their mom has a white ej6 sedan were I live. I got the white hood from my neighbor so that tells you enough. The engine bay and jams are still gold so I'm going to stick with it. I think it's a nice color and it'll add to the semi sleeper look I'm going for and I think it's a very nice color. Thanks for the input though

because every one loves pictures and updates, here you go.
my brakes were making noise and the car would shake from 30-40 so I decided to go to solid 11.1" VW corrado rotors

going to the dark side with bastard rotors.

the VW rotors look pretty nice imo.

now its all matching as well

and finally some red stickers
My jdm thin moldings

Most of the small things I need before I can paint it

it was just a small order; a rear (H) emblem, civic emblem, lx emblem, the clips for my roof moldings i need to get, the drivers door sash and the passenger side piece under the tail light. thats all for now.

Oh that's what you meant, sorry I miss understood. Yes I do have hid's in the stock headlights but I will bever put projector headlights or a retrofit projector on my car. Not my cup of tea at all. I did adjust the beam so it does not beam in any ones eyes and it is a 6k bulb so it's not that attention grabbing. Thanks for looking out though bro

This is coming along nicely, good job on the rear disks! I like the fact that you are fixing all the "minor" things that every other moke just ignores, like the new radiator support and getting the front bumper secure.
Keep it up.
Keep it up.
