Default Function and form installation issue *REAR*

Hello Honda-Tech! I just got my new F&F type ones and I ran into a problem trying to install them into the rear. They would not fit. I have a 1994 EG hatch may have a conversion in the rear not sure tho. Do I need new LCA's because im pretty sure they are stock or a different kind. they had toda fightex coilovers in them before with the EYE style of fitment. the functions have a C/forked style fitment ANY IDEAS? I NEED TO KNOW SO I CAN INSTALL THESE

If you don't have a stock LCA or or aftermarket eg/dc style one then they won't fit. Looks like you need to hit the junkyard or order a nice aftermarket set online. I love my Skunk 2 Pro+ ones.

Do you have ITR control arms? if you so you'll need to get 92-95 civic, or 94-01 (NON R) Lower control arms.

If you DON'T have ITR control arms, check to see if the coilovers are for a 96-00 civic.

Those are ITR Lcas. You need to pick up a set of 92-95 civic/ 94-01 integra lcas in order for the F&Fs to work properly.

Yep. Those are ITR control arms. Head to junk yard find a set of LCA's, clean them up, replace the bushings. You'll bascily have brand new control arms at that point.

Blox is garbage.

well I already have the F&F's that are for the FORKED style for original eg control arms, would it be better to just order a set of these control arms? and replace the itrs?

Yes. That's what I meant by go to the junk yard and find a new set of 92-95, or 94-01 LCA'S.
Make sure you get those, and not 96-00, they won't fit correctly.

Personaly, if you aren't going to go OEM, PIC or Function7 are the only ones worth it.

Skunk2 Pro+, Function 7, or PIC are all reputable, but will cost more than $120. If you want to do the job cheap hit the boneyard and grab some oem ones.

Skunk2 Pro + is a camber kit, besides the fact that Skunk2 is garbage.

My bad, I ordered all the parts at the same time. Yes the Skunk2 pro series plus are front and rear camber kits. I have their black series LCA's as well with the newer bushings. Skunk2 is not garbage if you get their newer revised ball joints and bushings as I the ones I have.

On that note, if you think Skunk2 is garbage, explain to guy why instead of hating on them. And lastly what sort of suspension setup are you rolling on to be able to make that assumption?

Skunk2 IS garbage. I've explained why I hate skunk2 so many times, I am tired I'm tired of it.

They make very low quality suspension parts. The bushings sucks, the ball joints fail. My buddy had SK2 LCA's in his car for 3 months before the bushings were gone. And we've already figured out their ball joints don't come with nearly enough grease in them.

Just wait until you're front camber kit slips. Yep, had that happen when I was driving my buddy's car. When I loosen the bolts to try and even it out again, 3 of the 4 snapped. (plan was to even it out and get it to the alignment shop, glad it broke at my house, and not the shop)

I had a skunk2 rear camber kit for a week. I got tired of how loud the camber kit was and I sold them. Bought/installed monday, sold saturday. 6 months later I got a call from the guy I sold them to, both were seized, and the bushings were shot. (he expected me to give him his money back)

lasty, I have junk2 coilovers in my car, it's not a assumption, it's a fact. Skunk2 products are ****ing junk.
I have a A LOT of experience with Skunk2 parts, I am qualified to say they suck.

Hop on google and search for the "skunk2 bounty".

EDIT- Their new stuff could be better then their old shitty ball joints, bushings, but until I see some solid proof, it's still ****.
I'm not willing to waste my money with that company anymore.

With you the entire way. I ****ing hate Junk2. One of their throttle bodies ruined a good newer motor (screw backing out of butterfly plate). I've had balljoints in their front uca's snap clean. I've experienced the shittyness of the bushings in all their products. I'm beyond fed up with them. Their ****ing skunk2 certified **** pisses me off to no end. Its like hey, buy enough of our tiawanese **** and you can have a sticker to proclaim you are a complete asshat. This is why I am in the process of replacing all of the bushings and related suspension parts on my car with stuff from Pro car innovations.

Ok well then that makes since then from your experiences. I as of right now have no issues with the improved Pro+ F&R camber kits and newer LCA's. The ball joints are completely different from the lower lines, and the new bushings are holding up great so far. I am however rolling on Function & Form Type 2 coilovers, and love my suspension setup all the way around.

Either way, good luck to the OP to whatever set your choose. I've heard great things about PIC and Function 7 as well.

I'm not sure they were the newer ones, but they were the Pro's and this was only about 6 months ago.

I'm not the biggest fan of function& form, based on word of mouth. however, I would run those in a heart beat over the skunk2's.

They are without a doubt upside down. The whole where the shock goes is much smaller then what I'm seeing.
PIC's are a great choice for the money.

Beats blox. they couldn't even get the endlinks holes in the right spot.

I've had the Pro+'s and LCA's for about a year now, they've been through hell and back to include a jump over a curb etc. when I hydroplaned and spun backwards in my old integra. Settings didn't move at all and everything is still in great shape. As far as the Funtion & Form II's, they are holding up like I champ and have been more than superb on the street and dragway. Hell I got the coilovers used as to boot.

To the OP: The PIC lca's don't look too shabby and the price isn't bad either.
