EF b16a2 Swap-engine harnesses???
whatsup HT im new this forum but a long time reader. so im in the process of swapping my stock 91 hf for a b16a2 out of a 00 si. i have the whole si to work with that i got for hella cheap jus cuz it was a show car now its all sanded and in pieces and whack with only 22k miles? whaa?? right??? so i have the obd2b harness and ecu and stuff. ive looked everywhere trying to find a strait answer and this is a great forum with some knowledgeable peps so here it goes.
I would like to know my wiring options like staying obd2b or going obd1. nd if i can stay obd2 then can i use the same harness and ecu and just bolt everything in to my crx? i want to go obd1 but its cash$ since i already have all the obd2 shiz. o and im in cali so i gotta get it BAR'd.
pros/cons? any help is much appreciated cuz i need to get this thing out of my dads driveway

you obvously havent been doing any research. if you did you would have seen that all the obd2 components will work fine with an obd1 ecu. and that you cannot use the obd2b em1 harness.
if you really want to convert to obd1 you can go with this:

this is one i made, easiest route if you want a clean look.

Nice. that looks like rywire mil spec. i thought i need to convert the dissy and add a vtec subharness and some other things. more noob questions why can't i use the ecu and the harness i already have?
thanks.
you can use the parts but then you will need to also do the following:
1. add in a 2nd 4 wire o2 sensor
2. add in an obd2 diagnostic port (for obd2 code reader)
3. add in intake air temp sensor to your intake arm (em1 did not have an iat on manifold)
4. add in fuel tank pressure sensor (will have to mod em1 fuel tank to EF chassis)
5. charcoal canister with sensor from em1
6. modify EF chassis harness to accept em1 harness (driver side shock tower plug and green chassis harness connector)
7. data link connector so obd2 scanner can link to ecu

ok so i talked to the local ref at my school and he said i can't get an obd2b motor bar'd into my ef and theres no way to make it work because of the camshaft sensor. whatsup with that? my friend says baring obd2 to an ef can be done.
