oil pan removale???
How do I take off my oil pan? I took all of the nuts and bolts off but the oil pan doesn't want to come off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
BTW its a 1996 civic ex(-t).

if you took all the nuts and bolts out it should just drop down try using somthing to pry it a bit to help it drop and make sure nothing is in the way of it coming down
Make sure you took off all the bolts. You have to remove the flywheel cover also, which may reveal more bolts. I just changed a torn oil pan on a D15 the other day. I also had to drop the header halfway so the pan could clear.
If it still dosen't come off, get a screwdriver between the block and the pan and pry it off. There may be sealant holding it on.

When putting the pan back on make sure you bolt the nuts back on in sequence and to the correct tourqe specs. (i.e. criss crossing) Also don't forget to pick up some HondaBond and a new gasket from the dealer to seal the edges, you don't want this think leaking like a quart a week. Refer to a Helms manual for more detailed information.
