97 honda civic with the cvt auto dose any one no if i can swap in a reg D auto trans or dose it have to be the cvt???

The issue is not so much with the transmission swap, but a lack of an ECU that can control both the "regular" auto w/the HX head. It's either manual or CVT unless you go for a mini-me at the same time or maybe an AEM EMS.
