Here's my little build thread. Started out as my daily driver since I was planing on building my EG. It had too must rust so I scrapped it and started throwing all my parts on to the EK.
Hope you enjoy!
When I first got it...pretty simple 97 hatch with a jdm b18c, lowered on tein basic's

Started to collect parts....

Can't just leave the rear alone with ugly *** drums...

Car had a CDN Em1 Cluster in it, which looked alright. So I spruced it up alittle.

Next was the exhaust, which had a Apexi WS2 catback setup. Ditched the muffler for a 2.5" cat with 12 and 18" resonators and a Magnaflow muffler. To finish it all off I grabbed one of these from Kidd.

Might as well help it breath better...
Skunk2 70mm

Pulled the motor and gave it a good cleanup and tune up. Also Installed a Edelbrock Px Manifold and misc slap on goodies for the motor and tranny.
I also had a CTR tranny from another swap so I threw that in for fun!

Wilwoods on the front

Working on the rear....

Got some SiR rear disc brake trailing arms and started a complete rebuild of them.

New Shoes!!!!

On the ground for the first time in a long time.

Thats enough for now, I got more pics since I have been working on it for the last 7 months on and off.

Sold the Enkei's earlier this year and bought these:
Work RSZ-R 16x7 White with polished lip. There's some curbage and one wheel has a small bend.

Dropped them off to get repaired. Decided to change the colour and mixed up a gunmetal colour from a Maserati <img name="icon" src="http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emwink.gif" border="0">

Lips repolished

New Decals from AFK Dist. (Work distributor no fakies)

Stickers on

At first I wasn't too sure with the first set of wheels you had on there but it looks much better with the RSZs. Did you have those painted or powder coated? I just think you should repaint the bay and it would look perfect.

The wheels were painted by a wheel shop out here, the engine bay is next on my list. I repainted the car about 4 months ago and fixed all the little dents and such. But I wasn't in the mood to start pulling everything out of the bay just yet. Im thinking this winter the engine bay will get some well needed TLC.
p.s. I just checked out your build thread and great job!
Thanks man. Good to see another black ek with a legit build. I can't get over how good those wheels look they really came out great.
So those Wilwoods fit under those 15" Rota's?
Looks really nice though. Also, you should do a nice HD night shot of your whole cluster/wheel setup. Something lets say... right at the top of the door panel, but outside a bit or something, lol. (Just a nice clear pic

Cmc and spacer were from checkered and the line is a universal -3 braided line by earls 60" I believe.

The guage pod ismade by Westhill Motorsports in Japan, tough to find.
Sad day for the build, it is now over and my part out has begun. Time for a new project
