i never done it so here are my questions,hes giving me the motor wire hardness and tranny {but the tranny is slipping he said }

*should i rebuild the tanny or get something better to go with the motor?

*what else do i need to do the swap going from v6 accord motor 3.o to types 3.2 2002 motor?

*what are the step am gonna be needing to do ?

*how can i tell the motors apart from a tl and a type-s motor?
so i wont get jerkt!!!

*is it just a simple take it out put it in type deal or much harder then i think?

Do the motor mount brackets line up? If not, then you will have to weld in new motor mounts. is it the same physical size? Do you have a new ECM/TCM? Youll need those, did he give you both the engine and transmission harness? Are the CV axles the same? Does the exhaust headers match up? Fuel lines match up, same radiator, power steering lines, transmission cooling lines? You had really best do your homework, else you will be having problems out the wazzoo.

I just did a swap from an accord to an acura, both J30a1 engines, and there were lots of things that were different.
