Default Faq's

Before anyone jumps the gun with a negative response I know That there are 3 or 4 different threads for the obd0-1 conversion. But what I'm trying to do is figure out which one i should be following because all of them have a couple responses saying "wrong info" or "recheck your work". I'm trying to do obd0-1 mpfi and add vtec. Fun Fun

Buy an obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness from rywire or ebay or whatever. then look up dpfi to mpfi swap. make a separate harness for your 4 wire o2 sensor, vtec solenoid, and vtec pressure switch and wire it into the jumper plug that comes with the conversion harness. crack a beer to admire your work, then go pop some mad vtakz.

i'm running an ebay obd0-obd1 conversion harness, two years and two cars strong now. 0 problems. this is after thinking the conversion harness i made was faulty (turns out it was my coil so i bought a new dizzy). I say buy one because its just so much easier to deal with.

Fire off thank you for some friendly advice. Yeah it's $190 from rywire for everything besides the mpfi conversion. I have more time then money and friend is pretty good with wiring. Plus I want to try and tuck the harness a little as I go. Rywires distrib adapter is a big eye sore.

buahahaha distributor adaptors. if you can get a donor engine harness it takes maybe 30 minutes to take apart your harness, de pin the obd0 wiring from the shock tower plugs, and pin in the obd1 wiring. and it looks a lot cleaner.
