Planning to buy some function & form coilovers for my dialy driver and only lowering about 2 inches or so. just want to know how long these usually last for people whose own them before they blew out on them. i will not be tracking these coilovers they are for my daily driven car only and maybe lower it more on car meet days but other then that they its only gonna be lowered like 2 inches not slammed.

 

I don't get it. Why would you consider buying coilovers that you think will blow out on you? Why do you not get something that will last?

 

i was thinking the same thing... its like buying a hamburger you'll know you wont like and saying owell i'll get it anyways,

if i were you do some research and look up some better coilovers, progress cs2 or koni/gc are alot better and i can personally speak for koni/gc

 

I've had mine for about a year now. They've seen track and hard street use. They're still running 100%, although the spring rates are a bit soft for any serious driving. There's still enough flex that I'm scrubbing on heavy turns.

 

for what it's worth my friend has 4 years on his. Granted, it really doesn't mean much...

Those could be blown now, or could blow a week after you buy them or last 5 more years. who knows. lol

 

did you use it for circuit racing? cus i plan to get Function Forms type2 for my DC integra and use it for daily, canyon, and some race track action.
i wanted to know how did it hold up on the corners at the race track and how dampening is

theres good feedbacks and bad ones just wanted to know thats all. i've been through alot of coilovers myself guys. my brother have a set of f&f but he rarely drives his car so far 1.5 years and still in great condition as day one.

 

F&F is for hard parkers on a shoe string budget... Save your cash and get something worthwhile

 

just gonna probably get some progress coilover since i had those before like 3 years ago on my ep3 and loved them.
