I love timepieces and just pondering the idea of buying something that would go with the R and complement with the interior wether its the red stiching or dials. If you guys have seen anything or are into watches then share your opinions. Plz no overpriced watches lol

To the 2nd one (12800) is the nicest. The 3rd has a nice face, but I don't care for the alligator leather band.

How much are the Louis Chevrolet's?

 

Seiko, which is a Japanese company with Japanese movements, has several watches with a black and red theme. I own two. Also, I have a Citizen (which is Japanese as well) with a black/red theme.

All are decent watches for under $500.

If you really want a racing heritage, start looking at a Tag Heuer or something similar.

Very nice watches I have a seiko arctura want to get a Swiss watch next the Louis watches are around $1400-1500

 

Maybe you should Contact the authorized MUGEN dealer listed above (King motorsports) they should be able to give you an idea.

The watch itself looks outstanding, but that fabric band is just awful. In the other picture they show a metal band version, I wonder where you can get that?

 

I dont know about awful may not be your particular taste but the band and watch is basically built based on the R IMO the band in the pic is similar to the tweed on the itr door panels and the red stitching is another obvious character in the interior as well. but like you said there is another OPTION listed above also @ kingmotorsports.com

I'm not that interested. But my guess is probably a large maker like Casio. I can't see the watch being a Seiko, Citizen, etc and having the Mugen name on it for only $400. After all, this is the same company that charges $31 for a set of license plate bolts.

Wish I still had a pic of it but Acura had a watch made exclusively for the Type R when it came out. A friend of mine worked at the dealership at the time and he picked one up. Truthfully the thing was hideous though

 

These are some nice time pieces. The Seiko Bar Honda watch is retarded. I definitely want one of those. Although this watch doesn't complement the interior of an ITR such as others with red stitching and black wrist band, it represents a part of racing heritage. I like it and it complements my car.
