i think it depends on what setup and future mods you plan to go with..id personally go with 4-1 for more top end cause thats where hondas power is at..good luck

like they said, it depends on what you wanna do later on, but please dont get a dc sports...i've heard nothing but bad about them. the first header they produced was for the 88-91 civic dx, and production is based on that first one. heard alot of cases where the ports were WAY too small.

hope this helps a little

4-1 Oem itr / dc sports headers typically make there power ~ 7k and up. Also if you are running a b16a- it would hurt its already anemic midrange!
But if your b16a is built for High rpm power, (port/polish/ cams/valvetrain/ compression/ get it breathing better w/ the 4-1 is good ...especially on the track where you usually don't drop below 5-6k

the 4-2-1 is an excelent choice for mildly built street driven motors that have a strong midrange (1.8L -2.0L) and that experience power drop off ~8,400K. (due to stock internals)
so its really all about final goal and the other components in the motor.

the other day i was at my friends shop and was looking closely at the dc sports header and a mugen header..its not til then when you realize how poorly dc makes their headers..of course a dc one is like $300 and a mugen one is $800 but i rather pay $800 for a header thats made right then one made like pOOp..thats my opinion

I have a DC USDM 4-1 and I'm running a 14.8 with basically I/H/E no p/s and weight reduction in a 2000 Si. No complaints here.

definitely with the 4-2-1 cause you'll have even power through all rpm's. with the 4-1 you're looking at mostly late mid and top end power and compromise of your bottom end power.
