So i'm doing rust work on my floor panel and I've ground all the surface rust out and tried to repair it as much as possible but theses these little black pits in the floor mind you the floor was black so it could just be paint stuck in the pitted area any thoughts on what the pits are and why some are black and is going to be a issue?

 

The pits are where the rust started to eat into the metal. The black in the pit is a small amount of rust that remains in the areas you cant reach.

 

alright thanks i rolled rust inhibitor over it those small black spots are they anything to worry about?

 

It's possible rust could return in those spots.. Make sure to put a top coat on it to keep water away

 

por15 is supposed to eliminate rust. Do some research on that product, I've heard nothing but good things about the product. Also looks damn good once it's applied..

Here is a picture of the results if used. This the under carriage of "SHG_Riley's" midori hatch: one of my favorite builds on here. I believe the por15 comes in several different colors.
