Volk Wheels - where to get?
Looking for a new set of wheels, but it has been a while since I bought a set of Volks. Where is the best place to get them right now? Might need to order since I have a specific one that I want, but I'm out of touch for who/where is the best/cheapest.
Unfortunately, Enkei doesn't make exactly the size I want and SSR is stopping production of the Type C. Too bad, because they had the perfect size/offset, but it will not exist anymore.

As for the Volks, there's a local shop I trust for those specifically (Big Bear Tire in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin). Marty has a great relationship with Mackin Ind. for getting them here in the Midwest.
Makes absolutely no sense to me. The SSR Type-C is as timeless as the Volk TE-37.
If you have sources that can find out more, I'd like to know more myself.

From Tanabe, err...more-japan.com. 17" supply is low on the Type-C and he said they were going to stop production of them. I guess they have a new design coming out.

I don't see why they couldn't. They're a distributor, just like most of the other Rays distributors, that should be able to order through Mackin and have the wheels dropped at your residence.
Where'd you get the information that SSR is stopping production of the Type-C's? I have heard of no such rumor.

i'm looking to pick up a set of volks too and found their site going through the mackin industries distributor list.
i know most places that sell volks have pricing set at pretty much the same thing with variances of a couple dollars here and there. is this place the same?
