Well i've been hearing alot of talk and interest about it but, no one is making anything happen. October 7,2012 Import Face Off will be at Gainesville Raceway.

Big Sexy Auto Ocala,FL is sponsoring the class with 200$ to First place.

Rules -
Heads–up Pro-tree (.400) class for FWD 4cylinder SOHC oem frame import/sport compact vehicles. Slicks and open exhaust allowed.

INTERIOR
Doors must open and close from inside and outside the vehicle. No center drive configurations. No other interior restrictions.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION
Wheelie bars are prohibited for all applications

POWER ADDERS
Turbochargers, Superchargers, and Nitrous Oxide Systems permitted in any combination.

Pretty much this class is run what you brung single cam. But, you must follow NHRA safety rules and guidelines I have no control whether or not you pass tech.

 

it's Oct 7, not 17 and buy-in/IFO race entry fee is $30, not 20. 100% of entry fees will go to winner(s)... 70% to 1st, 30% to r/u.

 

Last time we did Ocala grudge match we had a pot on the side where everyone put in 5bucks and 1st an 2nd place took home the money. If that is something we're not allowed to do, no big deal.

 

since this one is heads up, lets do this... Pay the $30 at the gate to race, no other money after that. All of the $30 entry fees will go back to winner(s).
