Default Using Gsr head Built for LSVtec on GSR Block

A while Back I picked up a GSR head that someone was going to use for LSVtec. I got it for close to nothing as he really needed the money. I know that it has full ferrea vavle train 0.5mm oversized with a 3 or 5 angle valve job. It also has victor x manifold and skunk2 cam gears. Anyways, I am not at all familiar with LSvtec and I am wondering what could have been done to this head for the lsv setup? Can I use it on my GSR block still? I do plan to have a machine shop inspect it all and resurface/replace as needed. Also is there a way to tell what ferrea valve train it has? Thanks in advanced guys.

sounds like you need a block with aftermarket pistons for the over size valves. Not a big deal otherwise, except make sure to remove the oil port plug.

or you can leave the plug in and run an oil feed line as if it were an ls vtec
