Hey whats up guys. I am wanting to know what spark plugs am I supposed to use for (1) A totally stock 2001 GSR, & (2) A semi built 2001 GSR [ B18C1 JDM ITR pistons, GSR head ITR head internals. ]

I am having really bad idling problems and I am pritty confident my IACV is DONE FOR! Either way I need to know what spark plugs I should be using for both motors. Thanks guys!

 

IIRC the stock plugs were NGX pfr6e-11... I might be wrong but they were def heat range 6 and platimun. Don't waste your money on platinum if you don't want to, I use regular old v-powers and replace them every 15k or when needed.

The second motor is what, about 11.4:1 cr? Go with a bkr7e-11 and read the threads to see if you can get away with something hotter if they are fouling at idle. Should be just about right though.
