Two Questions regarding ZC axles and clutch...
Hi everyone, its been a long time since I've been here, so I hope you guys can help me out...
1st Question.
I'm running a 90-si-hb with a zc motor and zc transmission. As of right now I'm using a 1989 integra axles. The problem is, that I think it might be a little short because if I turn it hard I would snap them.
Which axles am I suppose to use:
88-89 integra axles (they work without any modification to the hub but feels a bit short)
or
90-93 integra axles (supposively they are longer but do I need to change the hubs so the teeth of the axles will fit?)
2nd Question.
When I purchase a new clutch, since I'm running a zc tranny, do I buy one made for civic or integra trannies?
I'll be working on the car this weekend, so your help is greatly appreciated...

I have heard to run the 90-93 integra axles and intermediate shaft. And the axles will fit into the hubs without having to change them. For the clutch buy a civic clutch based on what year your transmission is.
91civic,
Thank you for your prompt reply...
One question...I'm currently using the intermediate shaft that came with my ZC tranny, are they compatible with the 90-93 axles?
Thanks again...

90-93 integra on left side - 85 accord sei (fuel injected) on right side - it is 1/2" longer and doesn't tend to come apart - everything else on it is the same as integra (cv's, etc.)
must be 5 speed

I had the same same problem about 5 months ago,I did some home work and found out that you can use righthand 90-91 civic axles on both sides with 90-93 integra inner joints.I know this works because thats what I've got on my civic now.
