Hey guys 97 accord my low beams work but my high beams wont come on all the time.

when the car is running the DRL indicater is on on the dash. When i turn the lights on the DRL will turn off sometimes. I go to high beams nothing i can hear the DRL clicking and the relay in the engine bay fuse box clicks and ive checked the contacts and still no high beams.

Now i go for a drive and the DRL will turn off and my high beams will start working. I turn the car off and boom it stops again.

Now i do notice that when i turn the headlights on and off the gauges kind of flicker a bit also when i go to put the car in reverse the gauges will dim/flicker a bit

Anyone seen this before ?

 

Check the ground wires around your headlights.

 

I'm gonna take the two grounds below the headlights tomorrow sand and put back on. What I noticed is that the ground for the high beams goes right to the drl module .
