Trying to build my 97 Accord 4dr B2 from the bottom up and figured the best place to start is the trans swap. Basically new to all of this so need a little direction as far as what trans goes best with the b2 if I'm going to do a mostly oem build with as little aftermarket as possible. I want the car to be a light to light car and hopefully still have a decent top end and be sturdy (the latter more important). Also, would like to eventually go to performance pressure plate, flywheel, and clutch and convert to short shift, would these mods be too much for the trans? Like I said I'm pretty new so all advice is welcomed.
