Can anyone help me figure out what i may need to put an h22 in my accord? besides ecu....that doesnt come with the engine....will i be able to keep my tranny? and what year h22 is suggested for a 94 accord?

 

This is one of those things that could very easily be answered with something amazing called Google. But yes you can keep your tranny, you need a Prelude driver side mount, and any h22 other than the SH model's will fit

 

OBD1 (92-95) or any of the imported JDM H22s would be the easiest swap for wiring.

You can swap only the one mount, but based on tearing my stock accord mounts, it's advisable to look into beefier mounts which can properly handle the power/tq increase. Hasport, etc...

During Swap: Timing Belt, Top End Gasket Kit, Bottom End Gasket Kit, Inspect Bearings for wear, Water Pump, Clutch Inspection, and all fluids.

Piston Ring Inspection can prevent oil burning, replace as needed.
