I currently have a Magnaflow muffler on my 92 Hatch but I wnat to switch to a different one. I'm just gettign the muffler and then having custom piping done. So pick one of the ones below.

If you have a suggestion not on the list, then post it up.

If you've heard one of these mufflers and not just like the name or everyone else says it's good can you tell me how it sounds?

 

The magnaflow is to big for my car. It's 14" and my hatch needs a 10"

In that case just switch your magnaflow for a Magnaflow oval 4"x9" (i believe thats the size)

 

my stock muffler blew it's guts out and my buddy have me this one for free. I don't mind it. Better then no muffler.

 

Get another magnaflow! 4" x 9"

 

i have heard one on someone's (some dude cruising, stopped and talked to him) b18c1 swapped EG. Sounds VERY throaty at lower RPMS and screams in WOT and VTEC. Almost like a deeper slip-on pipe for a rocket..

Werd!! Save some dough and get a magnaflow! Or, dynomax makes a "Super Turbo" muffler which is the same thing as the magnaflow or es oval for only $45 or so. www.summitracing.com

 

You never said what muffler it was?

 

i have the HKS Hiper muffler with custom piping and it was pretty loud. i took it back to the muffler shop a while ago to get a resonator put on to quiet it down. i always have to run around with the silencer in it too. but it sounds pretty sweet after all that.
