Icon2 Painting Buddy Club II Plus

Im going to change the color of my rims this summer and I would like to know what would be the best/most durable way of painting my rims.

I initially was leaning towards powder coating but then I was told that my rims are cast aluminum and that the powder coating would degrade from the structural integrity.

So if this is true, should I just go with a regular 2 stage paintjob or should I consider alternatives such as anodizing?

Powdercoating won't alter the structural integrity. Its media blasting that will alter an alloy's integrity. As long as you chemically strip the wheels, you'll be fine powdercoating them.

And, yes, powdercoating is the most durable finish for a wheel.

Thank you for the reply. I will start to strip them via aircraft paint remover then send them out to powdercoating
