best bang for your bucks tires...
Im sure this has been asked over and over again however the info i found was from 2009 so Im not to content with that. i need a new set of tires (size 195 50 15) for my 98 civic. i daily drive it, no track use or abuse. and my car is lowered (not that it really matters. my tires now are shot (had blown shocks) everything is replaced and ill get an alignment when i get the tires. Im looking at spending no more than 350 on them, the tires i have now lasted 3-4 months with normal tread wear (frnts were the problem)
thanks for any advice

Get an alignment before changing your tires. Putting new tires on your car won't change anything with your suspension, so the alignment will be unaffected.
As for your tire size, I've had great luck with the Dunlop Direzza DZ101's in every day use. Yokohama S. Drive's are also a good alternative. Kumho Ecsta AST's are okay tires, but cheaper.

O looked at them on tire rack yet i don't have A good experience with bfg..i worked at a Goodyear dealer and I'm not to fond on em.can you give me some specs on yours? Millage on them? Wear and such
Personally, I love my nitto neo gens. They have a different compound on the inside section of tread (where you normally have Camber wear) to help fight against having camber wear. They are sticky enough to get good grip but still lasted me a little over a year.

i've had great experience with the sports. opposite is true for the kdw's. avoid the kdw's.
new this summer, the sports have a more modern tread compound which has increased grip and tread wear rating.

^^ I have Comp2's on my GS300(work car) and they are great both wet/dry. I have never had traction issues. I have some cupping on my front tires. Only complaint is road noise. They have over 40k miles on them, all hwy.
I have Bfg rugged terrains on my QX56 and they have 55k miles and have also been great tires
I have Dunlop Direzza Z1 star specs on my GSR swapped hatch and love them. They have been great traction wise wet and dry. Don't know how long they will last since I only had them installed 1500 miles ago.
