In before the lock

THe best swap is whatever you have the money for. If you cant afford it then it is not right for you. Buy the best hp/tq combination for that amount of money that you want to spend.

Do some damn research........re-search

Or just save for a JDM ITR engine.

EDIT: for boosting just get and ls or grs swap.

Yea, a ITR is REALLY NICE, but that's 3-4K more that you have to save up. But I would love to have one of those in my car, instead of my lame B16 right now.

B16 is a nice engine to boost.

You can afford a b16 but please dont get one. Like you've probably heard before, its the torqueless wonder. Save up another $1300 and get a JDM B18c or another $2800 and get a JDM ITR motor.

Well if you plan to stay N/A then go B18C1 if you ever want to go boost save the money and go B18B

I look at it this way....his budget as of now is $2000. That's why I say go B18b....as we all know...the c1 is more expensive and a c5 is even more than a c1. B18b as it is will be a great improvement over the sohc. Now...while he saves up more $$$$..he can decide whether to go N/A or turbo. If N/A, he could begin to convert it to lsvtec. If turbo...well...LS is always a great application for boost. He'll probably have $1500 extra for the turbo setup just because he went with the ls instead of the gsr motor.

Agree'd Save your money and do it right, as opposed to doing it over.
