dude you said you get power to the dizzy but not to the coil? how about the igniter. ignition control module. that part tells the dizzy when to throw spark
are you sure its BRAND NEW. where did you get it at? autozone? if so its most likely a REMAN. and autozone FAILS at reman. parts. and dont always assume becuz its a new part that it wont fail. ive seen new dealership parts fail out the box.
hmmmmmm... how would that work? the motor doesnt have an oem crank sensor plug?? is theere a crank sensor in a obd1 dizzy? i remember there in the. dizzy in the stock accord obd1. but. would that even matter.? by buddys b16 doesnt even have his crank sensor plugged in and his runs and its on a non chipped ecu or bypassed crank sensor. if i were to do the bypass the sensor would it work?
yes its brand new. not remnd
inside the obd1 dizzy are the pickup coils. those sensors send info to ecu telling it at what timing its at then ecu tells injectors and spark when to shoot. if those sensors are not working then you have no spark or fuel. im saying from experience. internal dizzy sensors give me no open injector systom.

also RE-CHECK all grounds. body grounds. engine grounds. chassis grounds. there should be a pack of grounds to the thermostat housing. and i believe some on the throttle body.
I just did a JDM swap, and had to re-wire my CKP and TDC sensors... at the end of ur harness, right where it forks to the alternator is another plug with 4 wires... those have to be re-routed to the sensors in the JDM dizzy... hope this helps
He is using a USDM external distributor.
I'm not 100% familiar with the JDM H23A. However I do know that it is OBD2. Can you see the CKP and TDC sensor wires at the back of the timing cover? Would be in the same location as the engine that you removed from the car also OBD2. You have to have a signal to the ECU from both of these sensors.
