there is an electrical short in the body harness...near the ecu several wires have electrical tape on them....short causes ecu to blow...just ready to move on..comes with 2 spare working ecus and a few of the blown ones

153k Miles. Aem CAI w/ dry flow filter and brand new bypass filter, DC header, greddy sp2 catback exhaust, tokico blues with eibach sport line springs, skunk2 pro + front camber kits and ingalls rear camber kit, riding on 16in rota gt3s (i have a 5th rim but theres a slight bend in it). Oem Amber bumper lights (when i purchased the car had ebay clear ones)

Alpine deck w/ remote, rca input and ipod adapter. Would come with an itr shift boot new in pack (not installed). Has a brand new battery (decemeber 2009). New headlight bulbs. New alternator (june 2010).
Resurfaced headlights (october 2010). Professional detail (october 2, 2010)


Changed oil every 3-6k miles with mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter. And i ran ngk copper plugs that i changed every other oil change.

few bad things:
- front bumper has some chips from hwy driving and from tow dolly (was planning on putting a lip over it)
- power antenna is broken (have a replacement just needs to be installed)
- Tail lights gaskets are dried out so some moisture gets in ($40 a set and easy to install)
- Few small dents/light surface rust right above pass door..nothing major (see pics)
- Crappy aftermarket deck holder cracked (very normal for integra owners ask around)

if you "papa'd" the car since 2007, which is about to be 5-6 years.... what did you do that would of caused the ecu to keep on blowing... ?

gonna be pretty pricey to buy a car if u have to keep on spending 100 dollars to start it up and blow an ecu, just to solve a problem

 

possibly..what you had in mind

for the first several years i drove it as i got it stock ecu...when the issues started it was shortly after going to a chipped ecu and not bolting the ecu back down ....and the problem slowly got worse...my mechanic that worked on it isnt the best electrical tracer come to find out and just am tired of putting money into her

 

Definitely interested in the transmission. All gears work? No pop outs, no grinds?
