What kinda car were you driving before your R ?

What I meen is The car you had right before your R what was is?
I know some people had few Rs due to unwanted actions.

So tell me about it and how wild it was getting in the R for the first time?

And don't be afraid if you had a completely riced out mobile

'99 Cougar V6 w/ Borla exhaust, Mirko Racing intake, H&R springs, ES motor mounts and susp. bushings. P.O.S.!!!!!!!!!!! ........but, I usually drove my wife's '93 DA w/ poor-boy's ITR motor (that was great!)

 

i was driving around in a VTEC del Sol. I loved that car

then one day i was stopping to get gas, and i happened to drive past this car stealership, and there was the R out back. I went back next door to the ATM and got $200 for them to hold it for me til the weekend. The first time I went in the car, the salesman drove it HARD and I was like whoa...he took it to redline in 3rd and bounced the **** off the rev limiter SEVERAL TIMES and I wanted to kill him.

 

90 CR-X, air intake, body-kit, tannabe racing medallion exhaust, 16 inch konig rated r's (the cheap mans volk te37), 1.8 inch drop, tokico shocks.

and now i have to sell it.

2) 99 Civic Si - Bought Sept. 17,01 - totaled Oct. 14,01
3) 00 GSR- Bought Mar.16,02 - traded in Sept.30th,02

1.)I had a stunna 86' Mercedes 300E as my 1st car = mad $$$$$ on repair bills
Got rid of mercedes because it was burning holes in my pockets
2.)Then I purchased a 2000 Honda Civic Si brand new. - loved it - added JDM flava

then my 01 ITR.. sold it like a moron.
went to WRX, Then 00 Civic Hatch/b16 hybrid
then back home to ITR 00-1375

there's no place like home...

My very first car was a 95 civic dx auto. I had nice a nice suspension on it but it was slower than *****. My R is my second car and the difference is so radical from that crappy civic i cant even put it into words lol. Ill never go back to an auto after driving the R tho thats for sure.
