Post eg help installing extended top hats with sleeve coilovers.

i need help installing my ebay extended top hats, with my ebay coilovers. on my stock struts
my question is that do i have to remove the coilover upper spring seat bushing to install it. because the coilover top spring seat bushing seems to not flush when i put the extended top hat on it. thte extended top hat mount sits on top of the spring seat bushing and not flush go inside.
i assume when car off ground the mount will have to meet the spring on top.
can i remove the coilvoer spring seat and use the oem spring seat for the top.
also for the extended top hat do i need to install the bump stop inside the extended top hat? or does it go inside the bottom of the rod.

last what does the mini screws for that came with the coilovers it dont seem to have holes to screw it in?

Ebay coilovers. Nice.
Post a pic of the parts you're talking about.
Start shopping for new shocks BTW.

You need to purchase different spring isolators. QUALITY coilovers usually come with them.

Kinda like these.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Prothane-71706-Rear-Upper-Coil-Spring-Isolators-Rear-Coil-Spring-Isolator-Pads-/110794400839?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &hash=item19cbdc6447&vxp=mtr

Or you can just cut a bigger hole in what you have.

Did you try going directly to the Prothane website and look? Maybe do a car specific search for all of Ebay?

I would use a stock isolator if I were running the stock top hats. But since you're not...

They are set screws. The are SUPPOSED to keep the sleeves from spinning. The way the sleeve is in the picture is how it is installed for max low. The collars you have labelled correctly. The one with the lip goes on top of the other and the spring goes on top of it.

Personaly, I would flip the sleeves over, from how they are pictured.

The collar you have your arrow pointing at sits on top of the other one. the second one is there to lock the upper in place.

you don't need the screws. The second collar basicly does what that screw does.
