Tranny problems?
So lately it feels like my first gear has been slipping , but wanted to ask if it could be something else. It only "slips" when I start the car let it idle it will feel like my car will boggle out but never does when i proceed to drive it will then not go into first gear and the rpms will just go up as if it's in N after a few seconds it will finally go then rest of the day it will drive perfect even after shutting it off for work and coming back.
Other days it will idle just fine and drive perfect.... All day for days at a time
So it seems like it has to to do with the idle, if it idles bad I know It wont catch first gear when it idles normal it will drive normal... So is idleing and the tranny slipping have anything to do with, each other? If not then is tranny done? Thanks for any help

Check the fluid level, it may be low. Needs to be within the hash marks of the transmission dipstick. Look at the lower radiator hose, you sould see a yellow or brownish tinged color handle. That is the AT dipstick. Yes, it is WAY down in nomans land.
Ya i got the car to normal operating temperature like the manual says and it shows half way between the lower mark and upper mark, so I will be putting in more fluid tomorrow, and see how it goes.
Thanks for the help and I will update.

Admittedly I've always favored the upper mark. Don't over fill, that can be as bad if not worse than under filled. Make sure to shift through each gear, holding for a few seconds before checking the fluid level.
