does anyone have a clue what could cause my 98 accord with a 2.3l to die out when i hit the gas. it idles around 1000 rpm and then i can get it to reach 3000 rpms and dies out after that unless i go really slow. it has fuel. i tried two different Distributors and caps, different wires . it was once an auto but now its a standard, which means i swapped out the ecm for one that had the same engine type in it with a stand and the wire harness also. . if its a fuel pressure thing how do i check to see if its right?

 

Any codes? I would suspect fuel pressure, or possibly not getting enough air.

 

sorry i forgot , no codes and its getting fuel, i cracked open the rail and put the washer in the wrong spot by accident and it went squirting out everywhere, but i corrected that issue
