Default Parts needed for Mini-Me (VTEC set up)

I just bought a 19 CRX Si off someone and he has a Z6 head on an A6 block.

I talked to someone and he said I need:
- OBD1 Jumper Harness
- 4 Wire O2 Sensor
- P28 ECU
- Z6 ECU
- VTEC Plugs (Spark plugs?)

Is there anything else I need?

What will the total cost of parts be and how easy is it to set up?

I got quoted around $800-$1000 to set it up. Not sure if its worth it.

Does anyone have any step by step instructions online for this?

Thank you.

whoa slow down there bro. Is the z6 already on the car? Do you know what all the guy had done to it? Heres a little how to on how to do the mini me, its what I followed: http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/z6swap/z6swap.html
There is one big difference with this article and what your probably thinking, and should do. The article suggests a rpm switch for the VTEC, however the right way is to get an OBD0(what your car has in it now) to OBD1 conversion harness, and connect it to the p28 ecu(the ecu for the z6) that you mentioned above. All the electronics kind of take care of themselves in that regard and you dont have to worry about fuel and timing issues. You will have to get the wideband(4 wire) o2 sensor though. Its what works with the p28. For more info on the whole concept of the swap see this: http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/m...oreminime.html
Hope that helps!

Do this but just make it a full z6 instead of mini-me. Mini-me's have always been meh and unreliable when i've seen them just cause they were done by idiots. just my opinion. but if you can get it running right and how you want it, then keep with it and follow what the previous guy said. my z6 has my a6 harness and obd1 conversion kit on it for harness and dizzy and it took 2 minutes to plug it in to the harness, dizzy and p28.

I did my swap back in (mini-me) february and would I do it again? hell no I suggest keeping it no-tec to save you some monies. Two reasons why I converted I already had bought the parts and secondly I was rocking the b2 block. good luck

The full z6 eh? Ive heard about this before, and I guess it makes sense. If your working on your stock a6 motor, its worth it in regards to how easy it is, and IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING. But if you have the time and equipment, I'd fully agree on this and put the whole thing as a z6. How much did you pick up the motor for?

I was on my way to my brother in laws place and right before I get there, the throttle starts losing its response and the car dies down and cant turn on. I just bought the car from some dude who slapped on the Z6 head without hooking up the VTEC. BCAA came and towed the car back to my dads place and it seems we have sparks on all the spark plug wires. I filled up the tank of gas for the first time after fixing my overheating (broken rad hose problem) and after driving 50 miles the needle didnt drop... Does anyone have any idea of what happend and what needs to be fixed?
