Default Car won't start and seems to have a ghost in the system

I just swapped my 93 del sol Si over to a 98 jdm b18c spec R, I utilized my obd1 harness and soldered on the injector clips, distributor clips, and alternator clips from the RHD harness. Injector wiring was plug and play, distributor I just matched positions in the clip with the position in the other clip and ignored colors, and alternator I did this pattern,
black with yellow stripe = black with yellow stripe
white with blue stripe = white with blue stripe
white with red stripe = blue wire
white with green stripe = white with yellow stripe

When I try and start the car, it does not crank and I can hear a clicking sound from the battery, (I had the starter tested and it tested good) but here is where it gets weird, if the key is in the on position and I press on the throttle at any position, the instrumental cluster goes haywire, the oil, engine and battery lights will flicker on and off, and the mph will jump from 0 to 10, although the car is not on or moving. I figure it must be a wiring issue. I have looked all over and made sure all grounds were connected but to no avail.

I have even tried switching my chipped obd1 p28 to a obd1 (p72?) as well as the battery and nothing changes.

Any help will be appreciated.

Check your main grounds, [batt. to chassis, chassis to engine] check the thermostat grounds, in fact check all your grounds.

When one circuit has an effect on an other seemingly unrelated circuit it is almost always a ground related problem, grounds are the one thing that all circuits have in common. 94

Thanks for the reply, found out it was the ground from the tranny to the chassis, whole engine was putting out 12 volts lol
