No. Not at all. That's why you get OEM.

^ he's got the right idea.

but who am i kidding? i got the advance-auto specials from the rack to the knuckle on my bucket.

OP, if you can afford it. don't cheap out. but i doubt you'll have an issue. also doubt they'll last 100k miles but i doubt it matters.

now lower/upper ball joints.. you earned it if you buy anything other than oem. even those expensive extended ones scare me for street use.

I got some aftermarket ones way back when I didn't know anything and they've been sitting. They'll never get put on the car. Too terrified of part failure.

lower ball joints?

definitely a risk. mine have 300k on them and it's one of those things on the list to replace "just because." loosing a joint at speed, in traffic is not something i want to ever have to deal with.

o well ****. as long as you avoid curb bouncing you're probably safe.

although i wonder about some of these ebay ones.. so ridic cheap. probably a plastic sleeve insert the machine forgot to grease just waiting to wear out and pop out.

have i ever told you about the autozone axle that went bad on me because it wasn't packed with grease? anyway.. see you in another thread.

They are definatly going to be changed out for Oem ones these are only gonna be on the car for about a month. I just have to put new ones on now because my tires are wearing pretty bad but I just wasn't sure if there is a difference between right and left side. I contacted the company and they're sending me a different one and told me to scrap the one i have because it would cost them too much to recover lol I shouldn't laugh about that safety wise, but it is kinda funny thanks for the input guys

the one on the right looks correct. also i always used aftermarket ball joints and tie rods never had a problem... they do wear out faster tho
