So, are you asking questions about the H23/vtec or are you just telling us your plans?

kinda odd........."humblelude" wants to know if anyone has heard of the shop where he's taking his car to get worked on -"humble performance" and if they do reputable work or not. Could this mean he's just trying to find out if what others think of this shop? Is it his shop? Or a friends? And where in the hell is "humble performance" anyway? - as if everyone here has heard of them and know exactly who and where they are. Oh well, who cares. Cheers!

you need to calm down and learn some grammar. your original post was hard to understand and someone commented on the fact that you write like a 5 year old from harlem. he wanted someone to translate what you were saying. WE ALL KNOW WHAT AN H22/H23 IS!!!!!

if you are going to be dick, you need to take your *** to the ITR forum, or to Members Corner. some of those guys typically have a "Holier than Though" attitude, and i think you would fit in just fine.

if you can just calm down and learn to type, and think before **** just pours fom your fingers, you will be like more. if you can do this, then let me be the first to welcome you. if not, get out.

You may want to consider just boring out your h22 block, unless you already have the h23 parts, the time and money to make it work. If you meet that criteria, then by all means, go for it. If you just want it quick, cheap and easy; bore and sleeve(not in that order, heh).

You will be able to net the same displacement by doing the above, boring from 87mm to 89mm; not to mention being able to run forged internals as well.

note: I am not trying to discount the franky motor, it will net in a different(better) torque range but to some it's not cost/time effective.

Things to remember when posting as a newbie.

1) Make posts and titles that are understandable. You failed at both.
2) Learn the correct terms before you start bashing people for not understanding. Since your original post did suck, and was hard to understand.
3) Just dont bash any one. You dont have the status.
4) 'Search' is your friend!

Thank you for posting. We look forward to hearing from you again, as long as your grammar gets better.

I sure hope this Humble Performance is a better shop than Trizone Motorsport in Edmond OK. They are a very crappy shop, terrible customer service, half *** work, and they damage peoples cars when they are in their shop.

Trizone Motorsport =

don't sweat everybody bitchin @you humblelude. everyone on hondatech tends to know their ****...cept for me it seems. So when you insult their intelligence, they trip out..everyone here CAN be helpful just make your ? and **** very clear...people will nitpick the **** out of here, even for spelling. the best thing to do--->avoid bullshit, just ask your ?, and prepare for criticism....don't get my wrong, I like hondatech but, its not exactly user friendly unless you do **** right.

might wanna change your smilely face trial user thing (that's an instant indication to get **** thrown@ you. you change it under my profile then avatar.) if you got anymore? just post it, an ill try to help you out.

sorry, don't know nuttin about humble perf...only know facts bout the h23/h22 mod.

we were all "newbies" once, but sometimes people get what they give. if you are a smart ***, you will be flamed. if you ask a dumb question you are liable to get a smart *** response. if you get a smart *** response, your best bet is NOT to get smart, just ignore that person, and don't let them get to you.

I would recommend a sleeved block....the 1.49 R/SR on the H23 combined with the high revving you want to do is going to put some serious side-loading on the engine, in a bored/honed H23 block this could wear prematurely
