91 Honda Civic LX Mod Help?
Alright... Anyone? I need help... First off, I very new to this stuff. It sucks, but I've been researching as much as I can, and I'm starting to understand the different parts and what they do. Anyway. I have a d15b2 engine that's just about as stock as they come. It's a great car, but there's a few things that bother me to no end, and it all starts with power. There's just not enough. It has to work to go 55 up a hill. I've heard that adding an after market intake system would help me gain a bit of power, and heard from another board that there were metal plates restricting airflow under the dpfi plastic covering. Are there any other really cheap ways to get a bit more out of it?
For an idea of how cheap I'm looking at, it's gonna take me about a month to be able to save for the 100$ short ram intake I'm looking at. I will eventually look at switching to mpfi, but right I'm just to broke to take that into serious consideration...

I'd like to look at d16z6 or even a d15b7, but I just can't do that right now... Is there any way I could get more power out of it now? Don't need much, just enough that it doesn't feel like the engine can't even handle the car it's mounted to.
