he doesn't run an altenator...running 16 volt....that is back up power

as far as the wing....not too sure...but it prob has something to do with the cars weight or lack of..

He still has the normal battery up front. And there is two six cel packs in the pic? interesting

 

Those are rc-car batterie packs. They are maby used to power ummm.... have no clue. Interesting I wonder what for... onboard computer? It cant be something that draws alot of juice cuz those packs usally only last about 6~7mins in a rc-car
Those are 7.2 volt packs.

He uses those RC car batteries to power his ECU.

 

They are used to run his glowplug to start his engine... This is the motor he runs under there...
