I already had a L3 si trans and brand new Exedy stage 1 clutch so I had to source and long block. Found a local craigslist ad for a 1 owner 92' CX car being parted out due to being T-Boned. So i drove about 2 hours started the car and let it run for about 20min and pulled it out. To my surprise the cluster said 94,xxx. the man bought the car new so i threw him $300 and I was on my way.

Put the tranny/clutch on and was ready to drop it in.

Finally in, I havent even started on the 5 speed conversion yet. Replaced the Water pump, Tensioner, Thermostat, and timing belt. along with a new oil change.

Test Fitted the CRX Front. I think it looks a million times better. Yes the jack is holding up the bumper cover hah

The whole Front clip is pretty much together now.

Okay, This has probably been the worst part of it all so far. i've done it before but I ALWAYS hate taking pedals out. The worst part it the Very top bolt in-between the the tubes for ac/heat. other then that its not so bad, Easiest way ive found to do it is take one of the tubes out. but its still a Bit*h

Manual pedals are in!

Linkages are in and Started putting my Si Interior in.

Also Wired the car to "Think" it's in "Park" 2 large black wires soldered together and Small White/Green Wire and Small black wire soldered together just incase someones having problems. it's Cake

Plan on putting rear disc, camber kit, lower control arms on her so I dropped the tank and got to work. itll probably be hard to believe but the ONLY bolts that broke were the ones from the struts to the stock LCA's so i didnt worry about it and pulled the drum assembly with the struts attached.

When I was taking the nuts for the struts off I looked in the spare tire space and found this! Its ALL there!!

New KYB Excel G struts,Blox LCA's, Blox Camber kit.

Got her mostly together. and took it down the road and back. runs completely fine and NO CEL's!!!! Has a pretty bad exhaust leak from the Cat though. so it sounds like a Helicopter and sinces its a D15b8 its the slowest car ever....Mean 8 Valve aha

But I found a D16A6 Head with a Old Discontinued Crane stage 1 cam so that should be happeneing very soon.
already ordered my head studs.

The d15B8 head is off and everything for the most part is clean.
The D16a6 head was off a 88' civic Si so i didnt have to mess with getting the Y7/Y8 cam gear. lucky me.

Heres the B8 head. I'd say she was running a little lean lol
The Intake ports on the B8 head are tiny much smaller then the intake ports on the DPFI manifold so I figured it was going to run lean. but wont have that problem now with the 16 valve head

All back together now and Running. just trying to get timing perfect or atleast close to it without a light.

Pretty much now I need to work on the quarters and source me some Hatch fenders to finish the crx conversion.

The hatch fenders I had were all rusted out so need to find some decent ones so i can cut the bottoms off of them.

Maybe sell My drop out if ANYONES interested?
