gas tanks?
Well,
HondaPartsDeals.com shows the part number for the tank on a 1990 civic Dx hatch is:
17500-SH2-E30
and the part number on a 1990 CRX Si is:
17500-SH2-E30
Therefore, I would surmise that they are identical.

This works for a huge majority of parts but not all parts share part numbers even though they are the exact same part or will fit perfectly without any modifications (not off the top of my head can I name some as examples but I know it does happen)
That could just happen because the part was changed. Doesn't mean they were not initially the same.

ive done some researched before, and people say they are interchangeable. best thing to do is to try it out. id say, as long as the fuel lines matches up and the tank straps holds it up fine, then you should be ok. keep us updated, thanks
I know im bring an old thread back to life but would it be better to buy a new tank off ebay for cheaper or go to autozone and but one? Any suggestions? Do the ebay ones hold up against rust and are oem specs?
Anybody had any experience with these ebay gas tanks? Like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gas-Tank-New...bbe5c0&vxp=mtr
