Default using hf block with a6 head....comp. numbers??? is it possible?

i have heard that the hf bottom couldnt be used with an a6 head swap. but i have also heard that the hf bottom is the higher compression than the d15b2.....so can i use the hf bottom, and if i can, what will the comp ratio be like?

The problem is that hte valve releifs on the piston only supper two valves rather than 4 valves like a DX or SI bottom end. Some people said that it dotn some say it do, the only way to know for sure is to find out for yourself basically.

get a A6 block worth the 100 dollars or less.

the d15b2 block has only 2 valve reliefs as mention above. I dont think u wanna spend money on getting other ones machined in.
