Icon2 a quick question on a type of relay/selonoid

ok i have a quick question. dont know if this is in the right place or not but i was wondering if there was a dual switch or dual imput relay/selonoid like a plain relay/selonoid nothing real fancy.

anyway what im looking for is a relay that has two 12v inputs a constant and a switched or two switched to the point were that 1 can be on constant with nothing happening untill u switch the other power on and the relay wont turn off until both switches are off

i did a search and came up with these two diagrams and was wondering from someone with a little more knowledge them me could help me out. not really good with wire diagrams.

found somthing that they called an (and gate) and a (or gate)

this is the (or gate)

this is the (and gate)

any ideas?

if u were wondering i have an idea for a dummy kill switch that is an alarm that once turned on cant be tuned off with out the hidden switch being tuned off

So you want 2 switches operated by one trigger side? They are Called double pole double throw mostly used for on off system checks in cars or the double pole single throw primarily for voltage collapsing or simple as sophisticated lights

What I'm trying to understand is why do you want the relay energized untill both switches are off? If the theif steals the car he won't be able to turn it off till he finds the switch? Or will the alarm stay on? Won't he just be able to cut the alarm?
Are you trying to tie this alarm into your starter?

Those diagrams above are not what your looking for.
They all have seperate switches for each relay.
Its pretty much twp circuits side by side from what I see. In the first diagram. Unless you use a resistor inline and provide each swich with 6volts equaling 12 volts when they're both closed.
