B&M baby. I've heard excellent things about C's also, but don't have first hand experience. However, the B&M Edge with poly bushings is extremely nice. A lot of people have broken DC's shifter.

if price is not an issue......spoon or mugen maybe?
Please stop spamming our MB with Spoon and Mugen in every reply of yours. You ever seen a SPOON or Mugen short shifter?
Anyways, back to the question:
I've always loved the DC Sports. It has bearings in the bottom for very smooth shifting, and it sits nice and low.
The Skunk2 also has the lower bearings, but it sits too high for my tastes.
The C's gets lots of raves, but compare the prices and you'll wonder of it's really worth that extra loot - the DC can be had for $80.00 or less from on-line stores and I rip on mine hard and it hasn't failed me yet.

I can also testify for the DC sports short shifter. I pull mine from 1st to 2nd as hard as my puney arm will allow and i've never had problem.
i used to have a C's CRX shifter. i dunno if it's different than the type R shifter, but it really wasn't anything special. i actually liked my DC shifter better, but now i'm back to stock.
try useing the search button this short shifter things has been talked about to death. If you search you will find out the most people prefer the C's or skunk mostly everything else is cheap and is alumminun that will break during hard shifts

you people are aware that you don't need to SLAM your tranny or shifter around right. I mean sure you want to shift fast but if your exerting enough force on your shifter to snap a solid piece of aluminum your beating on your car for no reason.
i just got my new skunk2 with landspeed bushings and skunk2 **** (which has fitment issues im workin out) I am excited to get some time to install it.
i have apc...i hate it to death...but it came w/ the car, so whatever. i can feel every shift grind a lil. i'm getting a stock gsr one soon. i say keep it stock. can't go wrong w/ stock.
I have the nuespeed model(gift) and I love it. It only feels better, not so much like plastic like oem. It's beefier. Try just getting the shifter bushings on the stock shifter.
