Default Remote start and alarm not working

I previously bought a stock 95 civic to customize the way I want, and the people I bought it from said the only aftermarket thing on the car was the alarm system when I press the panic button on my key the lights flash but no alarm goes off and under the hood it says that there is a stock remote start on the car, but the other button on my key I'm assuming is the remote start (the picture is worn off) when I press it, it doesn't do anything, the light on the key lights up so it's not the battery but Im just confused on how to make it work. I need some suggestions on how to fix those.

Not from the factory.
A Honda Civic is marketed as a economy car. Some trims of Honda Civics didn't even come with radio or powersteering or power locks/power windows, why would a remote start come factory on an economy car?

What about it? No one even knows what alarm is on it.

Ask the guy you bought it from? Get under the dash and see if you can locate any logos or serial numbers? Are you sure it's even aftermarket? I don't recall ever seeing an aftermarket alarm that came with car keys.

DEI is aftermarket, you have an aftermarket system, pull the panel under the steering column and see if you see an alarm brain, box anything.

There was a honda factory alarm accessory available to piggyback off the stock radio.
