1989 DX, Fully Built b20v Overcooling. Help..... :|
Ive been searching the whole internet about over-cooling issues and I can not find anything about it.
Been having this issue for awhile, and I want to see what peoples inputs are about this situation.
When ever i downshift, my Temp Guage starts dropping to C' [ Cold ]. when I upshift back, it goes back to normal operating temp...
Sometimes it caues my v-tec to engage/disengage frequently when I downshift for a run.
NOW I have replaced the Radiator with a single, wider core, brand spanking new OEM Honda thermostat [ Opens at 180 degrees ], and I still have a overcooling issue, even replaced the temp sensor on the Thermostat housing...
My Fan is always on when the key is turned on, So runs 24/7 while driving.
..... Any ideas would be great?

Check your trans to chassis ground. I had a issue where my integra's coolant guage would go all over the place, especially when shifting, and the ground was really corroded. yours might just be loose.
